Anyway! Packing for me was actually completed a month and ago at Hot to Trot. I took out the horses that are not going to BMEC and then left in the 10 (11 including Ashes, but he is visiting a friend) that are attending BMEC. They are wrapped up in fleecy pony pouches avaliable from Chestnut Ridge and then slipped inside a Pony Pouch made by Jan of Solstice Sky Studios. The Chestnut Ridge pony pouches are made from fleecy, simple yet affective and highly affordable. The Solstice Sky Studios pouches are brilliant and I love them. They are squidgey, they have toggles and the fabric is really cheerful.
I have also written out some labels to stick on my pony pouches. So I know which horse is inside, what day they are entered and which class they are in. I have also colour coded them, green for Saturday and yellow for Sunday. This just helps a little with visual organisation and making sure I do not forget anyone!
Only thing left to do now is check ponies over, make sure whites are white, blacks are black. Disguise any ear rubs and make sure they are all in spit spot condition. I also need to tag them. Particularly the OF horses. I feel like an army of Hartland Hitechs could easily mean mine could get lost!
