I stayed over in the local Premier Inn the night before, which was a great night's sleep. On the Friday, I was picked up by my friend Holly and her parents to be able to go and set up the hall with Jane (the organiser) etc. I brought along some raffle donations, including two frisbee type things I got in a McDonalds happy meal earlier that day.
Once the hall was set up, I was taken back to my hotel, so I could sleep. Which I really needed!
Up early on Saturday, picked up at 7am and was at the hall by 7:30. I was rather pleased I had been able to unpack my horses the previous evening. It meant I could relax, welcome people and just generally get ready for the show!
At lunchtime we had a raffle, in which I did very well! Two new Breyer horses :)! The Irish Cob is called Jasper, he ended up getting a fourth in his class, which is great! The Snowman is now called Poulenc, and I will try him out as a Selle Francais.
All in all a good day, but a tiring one!
